SCHOOL

GENERAL DIRECTIVES

 

1. Students must attend school on all working days and be punctual

for the Assembly. Late comers and absentees shall bring their

late attedance and absents record signed by their parents.

2. Every student carries with him/her daily the school diary.

3. Children must be in their respective class rooms at least ten

minutes before the fixed for the assembly to commence.

4. Speaking in English is compulsory at the school, in the school

bus and while waiting at the bus stop to board the bus.

5. School uniform must be worn on all working days and at all school

functions. School uniform should be clean and well pressed.

Student who is sloppily dressed or wearing dirty clothes is liable

to be demerited.

6 Students should obey the teachers and = school

authorities in all matters, and are required to follow any

instructions that be given by the schoo! authorities.

7. Politeness and courtesy are expected from the students. Every

student is urged to maintain in their manner and conduct high

moral and spiritual standards set by the school.

8. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct of the pupil

inside or even outside the campus will invite disciplinary action.

9. Every student must take part in physical education and other

cocurricular activities unless rendered medically unfit or exernpted

by the principal.

10. No Student shall leave the school premises during working hours, 

without the permission of Principal.

11. All pupils must return after vacation on the re opening day. Those

who return late after the holidays must present a medical

certificate before they are admitted to class. Absence on more

than five class days renders the pupil to be struck off the rolls.

Re-admission if granted, will be done on the payment of

re-admission fees.

12. Care must be taken of all school property and no pupil should

scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school

furniture, write or draw anything on the wall, or in any way dam-

age things belonging to others. Damage done even by acci-

dent should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the

Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who

does, it Anyone who sees something damaged should report the

matter even if he/ she does not know who has done it. No pupil

should bring razor, blades or any sharp instruments to the school.

13. No books (other than the text and library books) news papers or

periodicals may be brought to the without the Principal's

sanction, else they will confiscated. The same holds good for

other things like transistors, cameras, mobile phones and

electronic equipments.

14. If you want to meet your child or the teacher teaching him/her

please meet the Principal first. She will make the

necessary arrangements for your need. Parents are not allowed

to go to the classrooms and speak with the staff. All

communications to the staff and student should be through the

Principal only.

15. The school cannot hold itself responsible for books, money

clothes and other articles that are lost. Children must look after

their own things. It is not advisable for children to have money or

valuable articles with them. Gold ornaments are not allowed.

16. If at the beginning of a period no teacher has arrived, the class

leader will see that order and silence are maintainedin the

class room. If after five minutes, the teacher has not yet

arrived, the leader should send him assistant to inform the

Principal/office about it.

17. Forentries in report cards and diaries, intended for parents as

well as for notices to parents, a student must obtain his parents

or guardian's acknowledgement by signature withinthree days.

18. The Principal has the right to suspend any pupil without having

to state any reason provided that he/she is satisfied that such a

step is necessary in the intersts of the school.

19. Misbehaviour like teasing other children,irregular

attendance,disobedience or disrespeet to teachers,

habitual idleness, stealing etc. obstruct intellectual and moral

growth and thereby cripple development of personality. Hence

such behaviour calls for correction and disciplinary action if

nesessary.

20. Books, tiffin Carrier, umbrella and other stationery

items as far as possible should bear the name of the owner. The

school undertakes no responsiblity for the loss of things or money.

21. All letters and correspondence addressed to pupils are subject

to scrutiny of the principal.

22. The students should behave in a refined manner wher ever they

go. They should always remember that the school is judged by

their conduct.

23. Each class will be responsible for looking after all their

class properties.

24. Students those who come by school bus or any vehicles

are required to behave properly in the vehicle and to the

staff. Suggestions or complaints may be made to be the

Principal only and not the bus staff; contrary action and

misbehaviour will not be tolerated.

  • The admission is open to all good and earnest candidates irrespective of Caste, Creed and Religion for we base our training on the fatherhood to God and the consequent Brotherhood of all men.
  • To ensure that children acquire the kind of academic excellence which will lead them to the understanding of concepts and principles so that the search for knowledge becomes a lifelong quest.
  • To acquire a positive attitude to life and patterns of behaviour required to live in harmony with other individuals and with nature;
  • To develop the total personality and help the child to be anchored in the cultural heritage of our nation.
